Based in the UK Controllis designs, develops and manufactures its own Permanent Magnet Generators, System Controllers and advanced Remote Management Software. These systems are incorporated into our own complete generators and those of our OEM customers.
The Controllis OEM approach allows us to deliver world class DC generator systems to customers all over the world at prices competitive with traditional AC generator based solutions. This approach gives the end user customers the high efficiency benefits of Controllis DC without the additional capital cost associated with western manufactured products.
Controllis was founded in 2008 and is backed by commercial investors, corporate entities and individual investors. Because all of our design and development is in-house Controllis prides itself on offering flexible bespoke design for any DC power customer.
Dr David Cleevely CBE, Chairman
Dr Cleevely has been extensively involved in the telecoms sector for over 30 years. Dr Cleevely's current and previous positions include: co-founder and Chairman of 3Way Networks, Chairman of CRFS, founder and former Chairman ABCAM, founder and Chairman of Telecoms Strategy consultants Analysys, co-founder of Cambridge Network and Cambridge Angels.
Simon Albury, CEO
Mr Albury has worked in the telecoms sector for 30 years. His previous positions include: co-founder and CEO of 3Way Networks, Managing Director of Airvana UK, Head of Sales at ip.access. Mr Albury has has held several positions in major telcos including Sprint, BellSouth and Telecom New Zealand.
Lance Davidson, VP Hardware Engineering
Mr Davidson has extensive electronic design and development experience in the Telecoms, Defence and Power sectors spanning over 30 years. Mr Davidson's past positions include: Head of Hardware at 3Way Networks/Airvana, Head of Hardware at ip.access and various development roles at BAE Systems, Alcatel Submarine Systems, GEC Marconi and STC.
Mark Anderson, VP Software Engineering
Mr Anderson is a software development engineer with over 20 years experience. Mr Anderson's previous positions include: Director at 3Way Networks/Airvana, Software Engineer at ip.access, NOC Systems Designer at Nokia, Formula 1 engine management systems designer at Stewart F1 and Pi Research.
